Los Angeles native Priyanka Chopra has left a statement expressing her grief for the state’s losses brought on by wild fires.

The Quantico star added in the Instagram photo, “My heart is heavy for LA. Although I am immensely appreciative of my family’s safety, so many of our friends, colleagues, and fellow Angelenos have suffered great loss. Many families have been uprooted and entire neighborhoods have been destroyed by these flames, hence reconstruction and help are desperately needed. “Every donation, regardless of value, really counts. As I come onto them, I will keep adding pages,” she said.

“I have seen innumerable GoFundMe pages and companies working nonstop to offer aid throughout the past week. Reports state that at least 24 persons have perished and approximately 200,000 citizens have been compelled to flee.
