After being kicked off the popular reality show Celebrity Big Brother U.K., Mickey Rourke intends to sue the show.

Producers informed the Oscar-nominated actor about inappropriate behavior and disrespectful language on set, and he agreed to leave the program on Saturday, April 12.
Following his departure, Rourke, 72, is reportedly considering legal action over a purported compensation disagreement; the actor claims that quitting the show too soon “cost him a big payday.” He only appeared on the show for seven days.
Kimberly Hines, Rourke’s manager, responded to the actor’s early exit in a statement to People, saying that Celebrity Big Brother U.K. denigrated Rourke by “publicly embarrassing him.”
“Big Brother is currently refusing to give Mickey the entire amount that was agreed upon. His legal team is currently pursuing the case, according to Hines. “To utilize his name and likeness in this manner, following a lengthy statement, Hines stated, “There’s no doubt that when Big Brother booked Mickey Rourke, they were fully aware of both his public persona and how it aligned with his Hollywood rebel image.” The show also anticipated that Rourke’s appearance would be “explosive, controversial, and attention-grabbing — and that’s exactly what they got, and more.”
“His provocative personality, which had already been well-documented in the press, has become even more evident since the show aired,” Hines said of the reality show.
Hines went on to say, “During our conversations, Big Brother was fully informed of Mickey Rourke’s background and lifestyle.” However, they went too far and publicly humiliated him, utilizing his dismissal as a marketing ploy instead of handling it properly. That is not only rude and hurtful, but it is also unprofessional. An accomplished career is an insult to a genuine film legend. Both in the profession and personally, it disregards his legacy and goes beyond the bounds of fundamental respect.
