In a Taylor Swift video, an 83-year-old man said he had “no idea who she was.”

One of the men in Taylor Swift’s latest music video claimed he didn’t know who the international superstar was.

Singer Lewis Capaldi and Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson were among the celebs who joined Swift on the Graham Norton show, while Barrie Reynolds appeared in the music video for her song Opalite.

Millie and Francesca, his granddaughters, were “very surprised” to learn that he would be featured in the film, according to the 83-year-old from Capel-le-Ferne, Kent.

He informed them, “I’m afraid I have no idea who she was,” even though Swift is one of the biggest artists in the world.

Reynolds frequently plays with the St Nicholas Players in Ringwold, but because he works for an acting and modeling agency, he was featured in Swift’s music video.

He said to BBC Radio Kent: “I was told I needed to be in north London for 07:00 GMT and I said there was no trains, so they sent a taxi for me instead.”

According to Reynolds, he didn’t know about Swift until he saw an article about her tour in the newspaper prior to the assignment.

At the conclusion of the shoot, he was given permission to snap a picture with her and claimed to have called her “Niftie Swiftie” because of how quickly she danced.
